BIKIRA MARIA KANISA KATHOLIKI MAKAKOLA

On June 13, 2010, the Missionaries of the MCBS Congregation took their first foundational step by establishing a parish in Tanzania in the Archdiocese of Tabora. Bikira Maria Kanisa Katholiki Makakola, a church founded by the white fathers in 1963, was accompanied by a school originally named St. Mary’s school later known as Milambo school. The parish located in the vicinity of Tabora town holds great historical significance related to slavery. It gained parish status in 1973 when the school was confiscated by the Government after the independence of Tanzania. The African Missionaries who are also known as white fathers were taking care of the parish until 2005 and they entrusted the parish with around 3000 believers to the archdiocese of Tabora. MCBS missionaries have been supporting the believers from 2010 onwards to Grow unto Him who is ever-present in the Holy Eucharist, the center of our life.

Eucharistic Adoration on every Thursdays

Rev. Fr. Seby Kachappally (Vicar), Rev. Fr. Vinoy Kuthukallumkal (Asst.
